The box only held three copies -- my copies of the "larger print" versions of In His Eyes (the standard version is still to come). Although it's not quite the same as opening a large box filled with dozens of copies it's still a magical moment seeing my book in reality.
The same questions as last time struck me. Did I really do this? Is this real? Am I really a published author with Harlequin?
The larger print did nothing to clarify things. :)
I wonder if the wonder ever wears off?
Wonder no more. The wonderful wondrous feeling you're wondering about never wears off.

I'm very glad to hear that Ebs. :)
DeleteWow - how exciting!!!! I love the cover and it def relates to the book.
ReplyDeleteIf your readers loved "Cassie" (which was a fabulous read) they will adore "In His Eyes"!!!
And to answer your questions - YES, YES, YES :)
Enjoy a celebratory glass of bubbles although today is so cold, a cup of tea would probably be better - LOL.
Congrats on the arrival of your book :)
Thanks Joanne! Yes, I have treated myself to a nice hot cup of my favourite (and most expensive) tea!! Bubbles are always good, though, so I'm sure I'll find a reason to have some soon...
DeleteCongratulations! They look awesome and I'm so glad you're documenting this part of your journey. Can't wait till it comes out!
ReplyDeleteThanks Louise! I'm still absolutely in love with this cover. It's so pretty. And it has a dark, royal-blue spine which, when put next to Cassie's aqua blue one, looks like a beautifully matched set. :)
DeleteLooks great Emmie. A great achievement. One book is amazing, two books shows you've got what it takes.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love you saying 'You've got what it takes' -- that's so lovely to hear.
DeleteLovely books Emmie. Sooo looking forward to getting my hands on one.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dora. I have been so lucky to get two absolutely gorgeous covers from SuperRomance.
