To celebrate the release of In His Eyes on 7 August I'm having a special giveaway here on my blog.
Anyone who comments on any posts between 1 August and 31 August will go into the draw to win a pair of stunning Riedel wine glasses -- just the thing to taste one of the fabulous wines from Lawson Estate or Waterford (the two fictional wineries that feature in In His Eyes!).
Because chardonnay is my favourite tipple, I've chosen these amazing "Vinum Extreme Chardonnay" glasses as the prize:
In case you haven't heard of Riedel, they are widely purported to be the very best glasses for tasting wine -- and the various shapes they offer are designed specifically to match the bouquet and style of particular wine varieties.
The value of this amazing prize varies according to websites and stores, but it is around AU$90! That's about $45 per glass -- making them pretty super-special, I'm sure you'll agree.
To accompany the glasses, I'll send a copy of In His Eyes, too, of course! :)
Yes the competition is open internationally!
There are also going to be other special little prizes on offer all throughout August, so stay tuned for more exciting news. And don't forget you can pre-order your copy of In His Eyes right now from Amazon, Book Depository or Barnes and Noble.
Boring but compulsory small print: One winner will be chosen at random from all comments left on the blog between 1 - 31 August. Should postage or mailing restrictions prohibit sending this prize, a prize of similar value will be offered.
OMG this is huge!
ReplyDeleteYay! Can I enter???? Please? pick me, pick me!
Yes, anyone from anywhere can enter!!
DeleteFabulous prize, Emmie. And a great match-up with an equally fabulous book.
ReplyDeleteThanks Louise! I do really like the prize. If I didn't already own cupboards full of glasses, I think I'd want some for myself!
DeleteWow - that's exciting :) Can't wait to see "In his Eyes" in store!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the release of your 2nd book :)
Thanks Joanne! I'm pretty excited about seeing In His Eyes out there too!
DeleteYou have excellent taste in wine glasses AND I'm sure the hero and heroine who hold them in IHE's. A lovely prize for a lucky commenter.
ReplyDeleteDora
Thanks Dora! I can just imagine Hugh and Zoe enjoying a glass or two of their special shiraz in these -- even though they are chardonnay glasses!
DeleteAwesome taste in glasses. I shall be reading my copy of In His Eyes with a lovely chilled buttery chardonnay...
ReplyDeleteI think that's the perfect choice, personally! My characters would likely want to make you drink a shiraz or a zinfandel, but I'd be happy with a chardy...
DeleteOh, great prize selection! I wonder how a Merlot would taste in one of those wine glasses.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it! I'm fairly sure a Merlot would be pretty awesome...
DeleteI used to be more of a red wine girl, but I've been drinking way more Chardonnay in the last year or so.
ReplyDeleteHi Julia -- I tend to go through phases too. I like both red and white wine, but I often find I'm definitely in the mood for one or the other...
